The Belize Medical Associates laboratory is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and qualified personnel, and has earned a reputation for providing reliable, prompt, and confidential results at competitive prices in a friendly, yet professional setting. We believe that your satisfaction is our responsibility.

The laboratory offers a wide scope of clinical laboratory analysis including:

The laboratory has memberships with the Clinical Laboratory Management Association and the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute. Tests that are not performed locally are sent to Baptist Health Laboratory Services, located in Miami, Florida or Integrated Regional Laboratories, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Samples are sent between Monday and Friday with turnaround time being 3 to 5 days.

The laboratory is staffed by skilled professionals who frequently participate in quality assurance and quality control programs, proficiency testing programs and other continuing medical education programs. Lab technician testing samples

Free delivery of lab results to doctors' offices within Belize City limits
Faxing and emailing of lab results to medical providers
Sample pick up for referral testing
Special rates for persons over 65 yrs
Same day lab results except for cultures, biopsies and pap smears
Local and international referral
Readily available lab staff to answer any questions or concerns
Appointments, house calls and corporate collections tailored for client convenience
