On Friday 29th August, 2008, Belize Medical Associates celebrated its 20th Annivesary with a mini lecture on Sickle Cell Anemia & Lupus called "An Evening with Experts" which was held at the Radisson Fort George Hotel and Marina Fifth Floor of the Villa Wing.

The lecture comprised of two sessions.  The first was held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the general public and the other from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm for all medical professionals.

Dr. Luis Jara from Mexico City presented on Lupus while Dr. Byron Sanchez from Guatemala City presented on Sickle Cell Anemia.

Belize Medical Associates was proud to offer this lecture on two of today's most vital health related topics.  Attendance was free.
