Our modern 25-bed hospital offers you special nursing care with qualified nurses and specialists available at all times. Nurses are often the first people you meet when you get to the hospital. When you arrive, a nurse will ask you questions about your medical history and any symptoms you may be experiencing. The nurse will get you settled into your hospital room and help make you as comfortable as possible. He or she will also take your vital signs, which include your temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate. Here at Belize Medical Associates, the nurses-to-patient ratio is one-to-one to ensure that patients are very comfortable.

Because we feel that privacy is of utmost importance to you, we offer private suites and rooms where our specialists can speak more candidly with you. All hospital rooms are air-conditioned and provide a very spacious setting to ensure maximum comfort for your hospital stay and recuperation. Suites and private rooms at Belize Medical Associates carry cable television, private bath, refrigerator and individual hospital telephones. The suites are also additionally equipped with an extra bed while the private rooms carry a large comfortable couch for an overnight relative or visitor. All rooms are designed with a large window which allows plenty of sunlight in and provides a panoramic view of the garden area or the outdoors. At Belize Medical Associates, all rooms carry a call button so you can contact a nurse for assistance if you need help. If you have to have a special diet while you are in the hospital, our dietitian will plan balanced meals to meet your nutritional needs.
