Anyone who has ever passed the corner of Western Avenue and the Western Highway on a Sunday morning or on weekday mornings would see many people standing in the hot sun or in the pouring rain waiting for transportation.  Belize Medical Associates saw the need of the people in these surrounding areas and decided to take the initiative and responsibility by responding to the growing need of a bus stop at the corner of Western Avenue and the Western Highway. 

Belize Medical Associates feel that the people of the surrounding areas will be pleased and content and utilize the bus stop.  They also ask that people assist in taking care of this bus stop which was built to fulfill their needs.

BMA is solely responsible for the construction and upkeep of this bus stop which cost approximately $14,000.00 to build.

BMA will also be looking at other community projects around the country such as building more bus stops, adopting parks, assisting schools and donating more to the Children’s home etc., and we invite other business houses to do likewise.

The new Belize Medical Associates Bus Stop officially opened on Monday 16th July, 2007.
